Işıl Eğrikavuk and Jozef E. Amado's performance work ’Explaining a Joke‘ is based on this case and examines the im(possibility) of explaining a joke in different cultural and language contexts. The work was performed at the 2009 International Performance Studies conference in Zagreb.
